digital organizing

Portland’s frontline communities are technologically marginalized — technology curriculum are rarely designed for them, presented in their language or delivered by people from their community.

2019-20, suma implemented a popular education curriculum where Spanish-speaking Cully residents built digital literacy, discovered and shared tools for protecting digital privacy, and gained awareness of the value of personal data.

Today, we are working with new frontline partners to adapt the curriculum for their community members. Click on an icon below to start working with us and bring the curriculum to your community.
